Shortly after Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza has crowned the 69th Miss Universe winner, she has faced her first-ever issue. Miss Mexico Andrea Meza is facing rumors of her supposed marriage with her boyfriend. Is Miss Universe 2021 Andrea Meza married?
The wedding photo
Following the victory at the 69th Miss Universe competition of Andrea Meza, netizens are quick to post old photos of Andrea in a white wedding gown with a groom posing to what obviously looks like a wedding photo.
In the photos, she was with a man who is Mexican model Jorge Saenz.
The “wedding photo” shows Andrea with Mexican model Jorge Saenz and was posted on Jorge’s Instagram.
It even had a sweet message as his caption: “I am infinitely grateful to God for allowing me to meet you this time and cross our path. Today begins a new stage of our lives and I am sure that sharing everything by your side will make me the happiest person in the world.”
Andrea also posted some of the photos with the simple caption, “3-09-19.” Even our own Philippine bet Miss World 2017 Laura Lehman sent a congratulatory message in the comment section in the comment section.
Not only that, after Andrea was crowned, this man hastily shared a story congratulating the “rumored wife” with happy expressions.
What is the truth?
On September 4, 2019, Mexican filmmaker Daniel Hawk also posted on Instagram a similar photo of Meza and Saenz apparently taken in the same area.
Like in Saenz’s post, the Instagram account of Chihuahua City’s tourism agency is tagged.

Apparently, Meza is a tourism ambassador of Chihuahua – the largest state in Mexico by area. The wedding photos Saenz and Hawk posted in September 2019 were taken for her hometown’s tourism campaign.
In the rules of being a Miss Universe, it is prohibited for married women to join the pageant. If it is true that Andrea Meza married, Miss Universe Brazil Julia Gama will take her place being declared as this year’s 1st runner-up. However, such rumors of being married are not true.
Jorge Saenz posted on an Instagram story and corrected that the photos with the caption were just his joke.
Now, no official statement yet from the Miss Universe organization or Andrea’s camp on the issue.
